Job Description
Summary: Canon Financial Services, Inc. is seeking interns for their 2026 Canon Insights Internship Program. Interns will gain hands-on experience by participating in significant work projects, contributing to feature development, bug fixing, and collaborating with engineering teams in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities:
- You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects that help you learn, develop business skills, and provide a meaningful contribution to Canon's business and goals
- You will be exposed to world-class teams and our business, marketing, and strategy initiatives through training, meetings, presentations, and other planned activities
- You’ll gain marketable skills and knowledge that you’ll need in transitioning into the workforce
- You’ll come to the office 2 days a week and 3 days with the option to work from home (unless a specific business need arises requiring in-office attendance on other days). This position offers a hybrid work schedule on full-time (8:30 AM – 5 PM) schedule based on a 37.50-hour work week. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs
- Feature Development: Contribute to the development of new features and maintenance of existing codebases using languages such as .net, angular, SQL, , or JavaScript
- Bug Fixing: Assist in identifying, documenting, and fixing software defects to improve system stability
- Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews
- Testing: Write and execute unit tests to ensure high code quality and prevent regressions
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for technical workflows and API endpoints to help the team stay aligned
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a student in an accredited college or university
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
- Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to tasks
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and gain hands‑on experience in a wide variety of sales, marketing, and finance business activities
- An enrolled undergraduate student who is currently a junior and entering their senior year as of Summer 2026, pursuing a Bachelor's degree aligned with the department of interest
- Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Chat, Calendar and Drive)
- Ability to thrive as a collaborative team player while also working independently with confidence and enthusiasm
