Summary: CannonDesign is a design practice where strategy, experience, architecture, engineering, and social impact converge. They are seeking an entry-level Experiential Graphic Designer to join their multi-faceted design team, where the role involves engaging in all phases of the design process to create inspiring experiences for clients. Responsibilities: - Involvement in all phases of the design process from conceptual development through artwork production - Participate in recommendations for concept, design, art direction, and production for a variety of two- and three-dimensional graphics, signage and exhibits - Under direct supervision and partnership with the environmental graphics team, design a variety of two- and three-dimensional graphics, maps, print layouts for exhibits and signage - With guidance, work with selected clients and participate in the interpretation and translation of their expressed needs and ideas into concepts - Prepare photo visualizations and mockups of proposed signage for placement, content and/or usage - Prepare camera-ready artwork for fabrication - Work with vendors/fabricators Required Qualifications: - Minimum Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design field required by hire date - Strong background in typography and previous related student internship experience highly valued - Must demonstrate skill and interest in 3-dimensional design, wayfinding, exhibition design and environments - Proficiency on Macintosh in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required, skills in AutoCAD and Sketchup a plus - Strong design orientation, communication skills, ability to collaborate well and attention to detail are essential Required Skills: Typography, 3-dimensional design, Wayfinding, Exhibition design, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, AutoCAD, SketchUp Benefits: Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses., We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances., We have paid time off, flex-time schedules, remote work options and a 401k plan and employee perk programs.
