WORK ENVIRONMENT

POSITION SUMMARY
The Network Coordinator, Fund Development, supports national fundraising and donor engagement to strengthen organizational growth and sustainability. The role coordinates fundraising initiatives, builds stakeholder relations, and provides communications and administrative support across the CPF Network.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Coordinate and support national fundraising and donor engagement initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Assist with fundraising campaigns, communications, and promotional materials.
- Track donations, maintain records, and support reporting activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on development initiatives.
- Support event coordination, outreach activities, and administrative tasks as required.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
Full-time position (37.5 hrs/wk) until March 31st. Renewal planned on a yearly basis, dependent on confirmed funding. Starting salary, that is paid by-weekly, is commensurate with experience and qualifications ($62,000 – $75,000) annually. The selected candidate’s performance will be evaluated after the completion of a three-month probationary period. Eligible for Group Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance & Disability) and RRSP after 90 days.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES
- Post secondary education in fundraising, marketing, communications or in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in a fundraising environment, marketing, nonprofit communications, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating projects, campaigns, or stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor/member management systems (CRM platforms considered an asset).
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA
- Candidates must legally be entitled to work in Canada.
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector, member or volunteer-driven organizations is considered an asset.
- Supports promoting the learning of both official languages and a bilingual Canada.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Hybrid Work Model - The CPF Network office follows a hybrid working model for employees living near Ottawa, allowing up to 80% of their time to be spent working remotely.
- The regular office hours are between 8:30 to 4:30 EST, Monday to Friday. The person must have the ability to work on evenings and weekends as required. The position may require travel to meet with stakeholders.
- May involve occasional light physical tasks (e.g., lifting office supplies or equipment up to 20 lbs).
