We are hiring a Client Solutions Associate Director to join our Hong Kong office.
Job Description:
Cambridge Associates is expanding and investing in our business across all of Asia. We have investment, research and client development teams located in Hong Kong, Singapore and Beijing and are seeking a Client Solutions Associate Director to join our Hong Kong office in support of our client development efforts in the region. This individual will work closely with the client solutions team and specific investment teams within the region to source new leads and coordinate coverage of available opportunities which includes conducting basic research on opportunities, responding to request for proposals (RFPs), creating introductory materials in PowerPoint, and tracking all activity and recording it in a CRM system. The position requires a great deal of teamwork and collaboration within Cambridge Associates. The individual should be capable of handling a large number of efforts at one time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a complete understanding of Cambridge Associates’ investment services, processes and philosophy and passionately articulate the firm’s capabilities with internal constituents
Work closely with the regional Client Solutions team members as well as global client solutions colleagues and investment teams to map ecosystem – clients, prospects, influencers (T&E attorneys, CPAs, other family office advisors)
Support brand-building efforts in the region, including attending networking events and conferences
Support business development efforts in the Greater China region, including building relationships with prospects and influencers
Coordinate with other Client Solutions Directors and investment teams to execute engagement and outreach plan across clients, prospects, and COIs
Own and support end-to-end sales process execution which includes but not limited to:
Conducting background research on potential and actual opportunities. Participating in prospective client and client calls and writing briefing documents. Evaluating opportunities and apply business acceptance criteria to meet business goals for revenue growth and profitability
Write proposal letters and respond to RFPs
Preparing materials for meetings with clients, prospective clients, and influencers
Scheduling and planning for prospective client meetings with investment teams
Coordinating client and prospect meeting rehearsals with investment teams to ensure effective sales discussions
Updating CRM system and report on trends
Work collaboratively and in close partnership with colleagues at Cambridge Associates spanning various groups including client solutions, marketing, firm & practice leadership, investment directors, legal, and finance
Proactively share industry trends, lessons learned, and information on competitors with colleagues at Cambridge Associates
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum five years of business development experience within the investment industry, ideally with a focus on UHNW families and/or institutional clients (e.g., sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, endowments, family offices) in Asia.
Existing network in the Greater China market is a plus
Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Strong listening and organizational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to operate independently with a high level of direct responsibility while also partnering effectively with both fellow client solutions team members and investment teams
The ability to strive for results, setting and achieving goals
Capable of managing long-term relationships
Undergraduate degree is required

909400
In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
