Quality Control Lab Technician at Cambria in Le Sueur, MN

They are seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician responsible for inspecting, testing, and releasing incoming raw materials, as well as conducting finished product design testing and auditing quality functions. Responsibilities: - Complete visual inspection of incoming raw materials - Test and release all incoming raw materials for use in production - Communicate test results and ensure non-conforming material is processed appropriately - Complete finished product design testing - Set up and maintain laboratory test equipment - Input the status of raw materials into the Oracle computer system - Clean and maintain all equipment in the lab - Complete all paperwork in a timely manner and communicate any issues at the shift transition - Keep work area clean and orderly - Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Additional duties as assigned by management Required Qualifications: - Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation - Basic computer skills - Education: High School Diploma or GED - High attention to detail - Reliable and punctual - Direct communication - Sense of urgency in completing work - Capable of multitasking - Work well both independently and with a team - Self-motivated - Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings - Lift up to 60 lbs - Push/pull 100 lbs - Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks - Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria - Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises - Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions - Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift - Handle Chemicals - Bend over multiple times throughout shift - Steel toed boots - Hearing protection - Cut resistant gloves - Safety glasses - High visibility vest - Hard hat - Respirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin.)
