Job Description
Summary: The California Lottery is a state revenue-generating organization that provides supplemental funding for California’s public schools and colleges. The Information Technology Specialist I, Software Developer & Administrator supports the Business Process Automation Services unit through ServiceNow architecture, enterprise software solutions, automation, workflows, integrations, and software system operations.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and support activities for the Lottery’s enterprise information technology (IT) operations and software systems to meet critical business objectives
Required Qualifications:
- Current Information Technology Specialist I exam
- All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to clearly demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the position on your State Application (STD Form 678)

- The California State Lottery Act provides that no person may be hired as an employee of the Commission if that person has been convicted of a felony or any gambling related offense
- The position requires a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired
