Description
Cake requires an IMS Manager to develop, implement, and maintain its Integrated Management System, combining quality (ISO 9001), environmental (ISO 14001) and safety (ISO45001) standards. The role involves promoting continuous improvement, leading internal audits, ensuring regulatory compliance and assisting our nationwide team to embrace a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Location: Based in Auckland
Type: Full-time, permanent Salary: $80000 - $95000 per annum Minimum hours: 40 hours weekly
Key Accountabilities
- Ensuring the IMS is implemented, documented and maintained to comply with the requirements of the ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 as a minimum
- Advising the PCBU on all IMS issues
- Planning, initiating and controlling the internal audit programme for both job sites and procedures. Preparing reports with Corrective Action(s).
- Recording and controlling the processing of all CI’s and ensures corrective actions are implemented
- Ensuring a programme of preventive measures is built into all planning activities
- Calling and running all quarterly QEHS meetings.
- Representing the Company in discussions with customers and suppliers
- Playing a major role in all matters affecting quality and environmental within the company
- Ensuring the system is operated within the specified procedures and complies with the requirements of the standard through a programme of internal audits and management review.
- Reporting H&S results, issues and performance indicators Senior Management
- Ensuring the accurate recording, reporting and investigating of all incidents and accidents
- Maintaining accurate H & S records and reporting monthly
- Acting as Cake’s document controller
Qualifications / Experience
The role requires:
- A relevant degree qualification or at least five years of relevant experience;
- Previous auditing experience within a similar business environment such as in construction or engineering
- An excellent understanding of ISO standards and auditing processes.
- Experience in managing on-site health and safety, hazards, risks, and at reporting to all levels of a business
- Excellent customer relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High EQ, a growth mindset, adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills, a “can-do” attitude, and a healthy sense of humour
- Commercially astute with an ability to identify areas of opportunity and improvement, then implement and embed change effectively
- Social media savvy, with the ability to organise internal/charity events would be great, but is not necessary
- A NZ driving licence or the ability to readily obtain one
This role requires you to be in the office or on-site, so is not one where working from home is usually possible.
