Civil Trainer at CADD Centre in Mysuru, Kumbakonam, Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory-based training in Civil Engineering design and drafting software.
• Train students on CAD/BIM tools through hands-on projects and real-world applications.
• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, assignments, and practical exercises.
• Conduct assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Guide students in completing industry-oriented civil design projects.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to students with different levels of knowledge.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Civil Engineering and BIM.
• Maintain training records, attendance, assessments, and student progress reports.
• Support students in developing job-ready technical and software skills.
• Participate in workshops, seminars, placement training, and other academic activities when required.

Required Technical Skills

Candidates should have knowledge of one or more of the following:

• AutoCAD
• Revit Architecture / Revit Structure
• Civil 3D
• STAAD.Pro
• ETABS
• SketchUp
• Navisworks
• BIM concepts and workflows
• 2D drafting and 3D modelling
• Structural and architectural drawing interpretation
• Quantity estimation and basic project documentation

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant industry certifications in CAD/BIM software will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 03 years of experience in Civil Engineering, CAD/BIM design, site engineering, or technical training.
• Freshers with strong software knowledge and excellent communication skills may also be considered.
