Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer (JS / Python)

BWS is a strategic consulting and business intelligence firm based in Tel Aviv looking for a Full Stack Engineer.

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who wants real ownership, high autonomy, and the freedom to solve complex engineering problems without managing bureaucracy or waiting for approval chains.

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain core services and client-facing tools, tackling non-trivial logic and handling edge cases across dynamic environments. If you enjoy stepping into open-ended technical challenges and shipping solid code directly to production, you will thrive here.

What you’ll do:

* Own features end-to-end across the stack, writing clean, reliable code primarily in JavaScript / TypeScript and Python.

* Build and maintain resilient backend services and full-stack applications.

* Solve tricky technical edge cases and manage state across complex asynchronous workflows.

* Make pragmatic architecture decisions and ship updates that directly move the company forward.

What we’re looking for:

* Production experience in JS/TS and Python:You have built, shipped, and maintained production software using both ecosystems.

* Problem-solving with third-party ecosystems: Experience working with complex external APIs, web protocol edge cases, custom session management, or non-standard integration layers.

*High autonomy: You do not need daily step-by-step direction. You know how to unblock yourself, research undocumented edge cases, and bring complex tasks across the finish line.

* Full-stack versatility: You are comfortable jumping between backend services, logic layers, and operational interfaces.

Scope & Nice-to-Haves:

* Android experience is a plus: Background in Android ecosystems or mobile environments is helpful for context, but this is strictly a full-stack engineering role, not a dedicated mobile app developer job.

What makes this role different:

* Real ownership: You won't be a cog in a massive machine working on isolated tickets. You will own core systems and see the direct impact of your work.

* High trust, zero fluff: We focus on shipping great software, keeping process minimal, and trusting engineers to solve hard problems autonomously.
