Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with safety requirements.
- Support proper mould movement, loading and unloading.
- Ensure proper machine/mould start-up and process readiness.
- Achieve optimized production output as per shift targets.
- Support scrap reduction and material management.
- Support maximum machine availability by minimizing breakdown-related losses.
- Ensure product quality as per defined specifications.
- Execute and maintain tool/mould changeover and BMR documentation.
- Ensure GDP and cGMP compliance on the production line.
- Maintain 5S standards on the shop floor.
- Identify process defects and support effective troubleshooting.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing practices to minimize process scrap.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for production-related issues.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2-4 years of experience in injection moulding / plastic processing operations.
- Hands-on experience in mould loading/unloading and mould/tool changeover.
- Basic knowledge of plastic materials, moulding and processing.
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge in injection moulding operations.
- Good communication skills.
- Quick learner with flexibility to work across all 3 shifts.
- Production-oriented with a strong focus on quality, output and scrap reduction
