The Information Security Analyst is responsible for safeguarding company networks and computer systems from security threats by implementing security solutions and developing best practices. Responsibilities: - Monitor, maintain, and respond to security alerts for our infrastructure - Identify potential, successful, and unsuccessful intrusion attempts - Participate in vulnerability assessment program - Configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for single sign on solutions, anti-virus, web filtering, and web application firewalls - Respond to security incidents, assist with troubleshooting, and provide on-call support as needed - Propose creative solutions to grow our business by delighting our clients - May perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - BS in Computer Science, CIS, Software Engineering, or related degree completed or in progress - 1-2+ years of experience securing IT Systems - Knowledge of security monitoring experience and incident response activities - Experience with Windows or Linux environments - Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools such as Qualys or similar - Experience with endpoint security including Anti-virus, HIPS, and endpoint hardening - Knowledge of methods to investigate security incidents - Knowledge of a modern scripting languages - Highly motivated, Innovative, self-directed thinker with an eagerness to stay up to date with current trends and a desire to impress - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment Required Skills: Security monitoring, Incident response, Vulnerability assessment tools Important Skills: Windows environments, Linux environments, Endpoint security, Scripting languages Nice-to-Have Skills: Self-directed thinker, Innovative mindset Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package
