Business Development Manager - Territory Sales

Disaster Restoration (B2B)

Territory: Greater Butte Metro Area – (From Butte to Deer Lodge, Idaho Border, & Three Forks)

This Is Not Another Sales Job

If you’ve been in B2B sales, you’ve likely experienced some version of this:

• You build a territory… then it gets reassigned
• You start producing… and the comp plan changes
• You’re promised support… but end up on your own
• “Six-figure potential” that never actually materializes

That’s not this role.

This position is designed for long-term territory ownership, stable compensation, and real income growth.

Who This Is For

This is for a salesperson who:

• Wants to build something that compounds over time
• Is tired of starting over every 12–18 months
• Understands that relationships > transactions
• Wants a clear path to six figures—not empty promises
• Can operate independently while staying accountable
• Prefers consultative conversations over transactional selling

If you’re looking for easy leads or a short transactional sales cycle, this is not a fit.

The Role

This is a relationship-driven outside sales role in the disaster restoration industry.

You’ll build a network of referral partners and commercial clients who consistently send business your way, including:

• Insurance Agents & Adjusters
• Property Managers
• Facility Managers
• Plumbers, HVAC Companies & Contractors
• Multifamily & Commercial Property Groups
• Senior Living & Healthcare Facilities

You are not chasing one-off deals.

You are building a repeatable pipeline through trust, positioning, consistency, and long-term relationship development.

What Makes This Different

• Protected territory you can actually own
• No comp plan games
• No revolving-door sales structure
• Proven system for building referral pipelines
• Leadership that understands sales and supports it
• Operations and marketing aligned with business development

This is a structured sales environment—not trial-and-error.

What You’ll Do

• Build and grow a B2B referral network through both hunting and farming
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, cold outreach, and in-person meetings
• Develop relationships with commercial accounts and referral sources
• Conduct consultative sales conversations—not product pitches
• Present company services and emergency response capabilities to prospective clients
• Educate partners and clients on mitigation and restoration solutions
• Attend networking functions, association events, and after-hours industry events
• Track pipeline, sales activity, and follow-up inside CRM systems
• Collaborate closely with operations and leadership to ensure strong customer outcomes
• Consistently build toward predictable long-term deal flow

What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)

• A real referral network producing opportunities
• Consistent weekly meetings and relationship growth
• A visible and expanding pipeline
• Strong market presence in your territory
• Income trending toward $100K+
