Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Building… · Concord

Full-Time or Part-Time The moment a child finally communicates… everything changes. The frustration fades. The confidence appears. And suddenly the world opens up. At Building Connections Academy, those moments happen every day and we’re looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist who wants to be part of them. This isn’t a place where therapists feel like a service provider rotating through a caseload. Here, you are part of the team that helps students find their voice, build relationships, and grow into confident learners. Why SLPs Love Working Here: SLPs often leave schools because they feel overwhelmed, unsupported, or unheard. We built our program differently. Why You'll Love Working With Us: Meaningful, hands-on work helping students reach their potential. Collaborative team with educators, behavior specialists, and support staff. Ongoing training and professional development. Paid drive time & mileage reimbursement. Medical, dental, and vision benefits (for 30+ hrs/week). 401(k), paid sick leave, and referral bonuses. Growth opportunities within a collaborative team. Your Role: You will work directly with students to help them develop the communication skills that unlock learning, friendships, and independence. Responsibilities include: Providing speech and language therapy services. Conducting evaluations and participating in IEP meetings. Collaborating with teachers and families. Developing individualized treatment plans that help students thrive. What We’re Looking For: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Required immunizations including MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hep B, and TB clearance (within 4 years). What You’ll Gain: Competitive Bay Area salary. Flexible schedule options. Supportive interdisciplinary team. Opportunities for leadership and program development. A workplace where your expertise truly matters. Because every student deserves to be heard, and every SLP deserves to work somewhere they are valued. Join Building Connections Academy and help students discover the power of communication.
