Position Overview:
Launch your finance career with Brunswick's Finance & Accounting Internship, a high-impact summer experience designed to provide hands-on exposure to corporate finance, accounting, and business operations while developing future finance leaders.

Interns gain meaningful project ownership, exposure to senior leaders, and hands-on experience solving real business challenges. Through strategic project work, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, interns build the technical and leadership skills needed to make an immediate impact.
This internship serves as the primary pipeline into Brunswick's Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP), a rotational early-career program that develops future finance leaders through diverse functional experiences, leadership development, mentorship, and exposure to senior leadership. High-performing interns may be considered for future full-time FLDP opportunities upon graduation.

Essential Functions:
- Lead high-impact finance and accounting projects from initial scope through final presentation, delivering recommendations that support key business objectives.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and drivers of business performance.
- Develop financial models, reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that generate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with finance, accounting, and business leaders to evaluate opportunities, solve business challenges, and influence decision-making.
- Present project updates and deliver a final presentation highlighting project outcomes, insights, and recommendations to finance and business leaders.
- Contribute to process improvement, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and decision-making.
- Participate in professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities throughout the internship experience.

Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Available full-time (40 hours per week) from June through August 2027.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship, co-op, leadership, or relevant work experience.
- Coursework or experience in accounting, corporate finance, financial analysis, or financial modeling.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
- Exposure to ERP, planning, reporting, or financial systems.
- Leadership involvement through student organizations, athletics, volunteer activities, academic projects, or community engagement.
- Interest in pursuing a career in corporate finance and future leadership opportunities.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will vary depending on multiple factors including year in school/credits earned, degree, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
