Summary: Brown & Joseph AR Management, a part of ARMStrong Insurance Services, is a leader in debt recovery and financial solutions. They are seeking a Payment Posting Specialist responsible for reviewing and posting payments, resolving discrepancies, and handling administrative duties to support operations. Responsibilities: - Review and post payments received through various channels and accurately apply towards open balances in the company’s system - Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies such as duplicate payments, overpayments, incorrect allocations - Handle direct communication with customers and internal team members to assist with incoming inquiries - Handle office administrative duties related to incoming and outgoing mail needs Required Qualifications: - Hybrid position - one day a week required in office - Ability to work within a team to achieve customer and company goals - Ability to learn and efficiently work in numerous systems and applications - Ability to handle competing priorities and changing deadlines - Ability to handle numbers accurately, reconcile differences and review financial data - Self-motivated and strong attention to detail - Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel - Strong interpersonal and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Associate's degree or equivalent work experience desired - Previous experience within an office setting preferred - Previous experience in an accounting environment preferred Required Skills: Payment posting, Payment discrepancy resolution, Financial data reconciliation, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel Benefits: Benefits package with health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage options, 401(k) retirement plan option with company matching, Generous paid time off policy (18 days) and 9 paid holidays, 401(k) plan with company matching and immediate vesting
