Job Description
Summary: Brooks Running is committed to enhancing the runner's experience through innovative systems. The Runner Experience Systems Specialist plays a crucial role in the administration and support of systems that enhance customer and wholesale interactions, ensuring operational reliability and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Support product setup, catalog maintenance, and UPC management processes
- Maintain customer vendor compliance profiles, requirements, and documentation
- Support chargeback research, dispute preparation, and case tracking
- Perform recurring audits to identify compliance gaps and escalation patterns
- Document recurring compliance issues and support continuous improvement efforts
- Monitor EDI transactions; triage errors and coordinate resolution with partners
- Coordinate and execute EDI testing for new partners, changes, and upgrades
- Maintain EDI partner documentation, mappings, and procedures
- Support EDI onboarding activities and data validation
- Provide daily administration and operational support for assigned business systems and related tools
- Monitor transaction and data flows; identify, investigate, and resolve system issues or escalate appropriately
- Serve as a primary point of contact for system questions and operational issues within Runner Experience
- Execute approved configuration updates and routine system maintenance following established change controls
- Partner with IT and business teams to support system stability, testing, and issue resolution
- Log, track, and document incidents, root causes, and resolutions
- Identify recurring issues or process gaps and propose improvement opportunities
- Act as a customer and service advocate in projects impacting systems or processes
- Participate in UAT, regression testing, and post‑release validation
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, job aids, and process workflows
- Support training content development and updates as systems or processes evolve
- Assist with release communications and rollout coordination
- Ensure documentation and records are accurate, current, and accessible
- Work closely with Sales, Runner Experience, Operations, Finance, and IT partners
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 1+ years of experience supporting business operations and/or business systems in a cross‑functional environment
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced operational environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation
- Comfort working with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, OMS, CRM, WMS, B2B/B2C platforms)
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
- Demonstrated alignment with Brooks' values and commitment to customer experience
- Comfort working with technical partners (IT, vendors) and following structured testing/change processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years' experience in Wholesale Order Management or Systems Support
- Understanding of Wholesale Order Order-to-Cash Lifecycle, and the systems that enable order processing
- Experience with wholesale systems, EDI transactions (e.g., 850/855/856/810), and trading partner onboarding
- Exposure to customer compliance programs, routing guides, labeling, or chargeback processes
