Location: BMI Nashville Duration: Summer 2026 / June 1 – July 30, 2026 Department: AV Operations Work Environment: This position is a hybrid role with expectations for 3 days onsite and 1 day remote. POSITION SUMMARY: This internship supports efforts to improve the accuracy of cue sheet data by identifying sound effects that are incorrectly listed as musical works. The intern will research production music libraries and assist with data clean-up and classification activities.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Review cue sheet entries to help distinguish sound effects from musical works. Research select production music libraries to identify sound effects and commonly used keywords. Document findings and assist with updating records in internal systems. Regular attendance. Other duties as assigned. Support our BMI Core Values and cultivate a culture of diversity and inclusion.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student. Must return to school in the Fall of 2026. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
