We are hiring multiple positions in our US Medical billing team in Chennai,Tamilnadu

Experience: 3-4 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong skills in MS Excel, SQL, and Python (Pandas) to support data analysis, reporting, and automation initiatives in a medical billing environment. The ideal candidate should understand medical billing workflows, automate repetitive processes, and effectively communicate with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• • Analyze medical billing data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement areas
• • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, power query preferred)
• • Write efficient SQL queries to extract, validate, and transform data from databases
• • Use Python (primarily Pandas) to clean, process, and analyze large datasets
• • Automate recurring reports and operational tasks using Python and/or SQL
• • Support revenue cycle, claims, AR, and denial analysis
• • Work closely with operations and billing teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• • Document scripts, processes, and data logic clearly
• • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with healthcare standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• • 34 years of hands-on experience in Excel, SQL, and Python (Pandas)
• • Strong understanding of medical billing / revenue cycle management (RCM) processes
• • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and validation
• • Good knowledge of automation concepts and scripting
• • Strong verbal and written communication skills
• • Ability to gather requirements, ask the right questions, and explain technical outputs to non-technical users
• • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good to Have (Added Advantage)

• • Experience automating workflows or reports
• • Exposure to healthcare data standards
• • Knowledge of tools like Power BI / Tableau (optional)
• • Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization
