IT Support Specialist at BRILLIANCE HONDA in Crystal Lake, IL

Job Summary

Brilliance Honda and Subaru are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and network issues, and supporting day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills and is comfortable working with Excel for data tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Diagnose and troubleshoot computer systems, printers, and peripheral devices
• Assist with network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, etc.)
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software
• Maintain documentation of support requests and resolutions
• Use Microsoft Excel to track tickets, inventory, and basic reporting
• Support end users both in person and remotely
• Escalate complex issues when necessary

Experience

• Proven experience in IT support or a similar role
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and network issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data organization, tracking)
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common business applications
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, routers, switches)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Pay: $25.32 - $28.50 per hour
