Job Description
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Private Duty
Lubbock, TX | $22–$25/hour | 9:00 PM–12:00 AM | PRN | Weekly Pay
BrightStar Care of Lubbock is hiring a dependable LVN for a 3-hour evening private duty shift. The patient can assist with transfers and will guide you through their established nighttime routine.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with evening medications and bedtime routine
- Assist with transfers using a transfer board
- Reposition for comfort and safety
- Assist with hand, wrist, leg, and toe stretches
- Provide urinary drainage bag care and monitor for blockage
- Assist with CPAP setup and use
- Occasionally assist with suprapubic catheter changes
- Assist with toileting as needed
- Perform routine safety and comfort checks
- Follow the established nighttime routine
- Complete required documentation
What You’ll Need
- Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license
- Minimum 1 year of documented experience
- Med-Surg or home health experience preferred; willing to train
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting.
