The Research Intern will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, collecting and coding data, preparing reports, and assisting with basic research experiments. Responsibilities: - Collects and codes data - Transfers collected data to code sheets - Prepares data for keypunching / computer input - Documents system changes, informing supervisor of conflicts between coding methods and protocol - Prepares written reports on data, as appropriate - Performs basic research experiments - Assists with analysis of experimental data using basic statistical methods - Performs literature searches - Assists with maintenance of a clean and orderly lab Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or Equivalent required - Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program 0-1 year required - Math, statistics, or programming background of coursework 0-1 year preferred - Basic Computer literacy - Attention to Detail - Good Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities - Solid written and verbal communication skills - Good Customer service skills Important Skills: Data collection, Basic statistical methods, Literature searches Nice-to-Have Skills: Customer service skills, Computer literacy, Attention to detail, Organizational skills, Communication skills Benefits: Comprehensive benefits, Career advancement opportunities, Differentials, Premiums and bonuses, Recognition programs designed to celebrate your contributions and support your professional growth
