Summary: Brierley Associates Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Geo-Structural Engineer to join their Moraga, CA, office. The role involves working on challenging projects related to deep excavations and foundations, while collaborating with teams across North America and gaining exposure to complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers with design and analysis of SOE systems, slurry walls, and foundations
- Prepare engineering calculations, sketches, and technical reports under guidance
- Support development of construction drawings and specifications
- Participate in field investigations and construction observation
- Learn and apply geotechnical and structural principles to real-world projects
- Use software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudios, Mathcad) for modeling and design tasks
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to project meetings

Required Qualifications:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- Structural engineering background with interest in geotechnical engineering, OR geotechnical background with interest in structural engineering
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to travel for short-term field assignments
- Valid driver's license
- Ability and commitment to obtain PE license within 2–4 years

Preferred Qualifications:
- MS in Civil Engineering
- Familiarity with analytical or design software
- Experience with programming
- PE license
