Job Description
Summary: Breckenridge Grand Vacations is a locally owned resort developer with a 40-year history in Summit County. They are seeking a Night Auditor who will balance financial stewardship and guest service during overnight hours, ensuring accuracy in guest folios and maintaining property security.
Responsibilities:
- Verify and reconcile all guest folios with 100% accuracy
- Process credit card transactions and rate builder financials
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and audit reports
- Conduct overnight front desk operations and reservations
- Address guest inquiries with professionalism and care
- Perform property security rounds and access control
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Generate critical daily reports for management
- Maintain compliance with all accounting procedures
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Ability to work overnight shifts (typically 11pm-7am)
- Strong mathematical aptitude for financial reconciliation
- Capability to lift 25 lbs. (luggage assistance as needed)
- Must be able to sit/stand for 8-hour shifts
- Comfortable working alone during overnight hours
- Ability to respond calmly to emergency situations
- Willingness to work weekends/holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year night audit experience in hospitality
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Business
- 6+ months experience in accounting, auditing, or night operations
- Familiarity with property management systems
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Certification in accounting principles
