Summary: Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula is seeking a Youth Development Professional to maintain close, daily contact with Club staff and members. The role involves overseeing programs, establishing objectives, encouraging participation, and demonstrating leadership to ensure member safety and growth.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee a range of programs and day-to-day activities
- Establish program objectives consistent with organizational goals, standards, and mission
- Encourage member participation in program activities and offer constructive feedback
- Demonstrate leadership to assure conduct, safety, and growth of members

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics
- Demonstrated organizational, staff, and project management abilities
- Ability to oversee a range of programs and day-to-day activities
- Capability to establish program objectives consistent with organizational goals, standards, and mission
- Skills to encourage member participation in program activities and offer constructive feedback
- Leadership skills to assure conduct, safety, and growth of members

Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in childcare
- First Aid Certification
- CPR Certification
