Job Description
Summary: Box is the leader in Intelligent Content Management, simplifying work for global organizations. As a Product Management Intern, you'll support the development of internal developer tools and platforms, contributing to initiatives that enhance developer workflows and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Support Product Roadmap Development: Assist in defining and prioritizing features for internal developer tools and platforms based on engineering team feedback and strategic goals
- Conduct Research: Research industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in developer productivity, DevOps, and platform engineering
- Gather User Insights: Collect and analyze feedback from internal engineering teams to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
- Define Requirements: Help translate user needs into clear product requirements and specifications for platform improvements
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables
- Track Metrics: Help monitor and report on key developer experience metrics to measure the impact of platform initiatives
- Participate in Planning: Join sprint planning, roadmap reviews, and cross-functional meetings to gain exposure to the full product management lifecycle
Required Qualifications:
- Graduating between December 2026 - June 2027 with a BA/BS, majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field
- Strong interest in product management and technology
- Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies
- Experience with AI-assisted coding
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with developer tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, or similar platforms
- Coursework or experience in software engineering, data analysis, or UX research
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with AI tools in other stages of SDLC
- Previous internship experience in product management, engineering, or a related field
- Curiosity about improving developer workflows and productivity
