Senior Devops Engineer at Bounteous in Hybrid - Gurugram

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, Groovy, Docker, and Infrastructure Automation.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, managing Kubernetes clusters, and optimizing production environments.

Scripting expertise is mandatory. Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in Python and Shell scripting for infrastructure automation, operational automation, AWS resource management, and deployment orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Manage containerized applications on Kubernetes (EKS).
• Build, optimize, and maintain Docker images.
• Create and maintain Helm Charts for Kubernetes deployments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy.
• Develop automation frameworks using Python and Shell scripting.
• Automate AWS operations using Boto3 libraries.
• Manage deployment strategies including Blue-Green and Canary deployments.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using AppDynamics and observability tools.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Platform, and Cloud teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Drive platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

• Experience creating Jenkins pipelines using Groovy.
• Strong Python and Shell scripting expertise.
• Experience with Docker image creation and management.
• Monitoring and observability experience using AppDynamics or equivalent tools.
• Proven experience supporting production environments and deployment automation.
