Summary: Bot Auto is revolutionizing the transportation of goods with autonomous trucks, aiming to enhance community quality of life. The Software Engineer Intern in Operation Platforms will contribute to developing systems that power the autonomous fleet operations, working with experienced engineers to design and ship features that impact fleet management and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: - Contribute to the development of backend services and/or frontend tools for fleet operations platforms, including scheduling, mission control, and fleet monitoring systems - Build automation workflows that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and enhance system reliability - Work on automated pipelines and services that process real-time and historical fleet data for analytics and decision-making - Develop features for IoT platforms that integrate vehicle telemetry, sensors, and remote assistance systems - Collaborate with engineers and product teams to design scalable and user-friendly tools for operations teams - Participate in debugging, testing, and improving system performance and reliability in production environments - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field - Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals - Interest in distributed systems, backend services, or full-stack development - Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with web development (frontend or backend) or building APIs - Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data processing - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) - Interest in IoT systems, real-time data processing, or autonomous systems - Experience with data analytics, dashboards, or visualization tools - Passion for improving real-world operations through automation and intelligent systems Required Skills: Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Data Structures, Algorithms, Software Engineering Fundamentals, Distributed Systems, Backend Services, Full-stack Development, Web Development, API Development, Databases, SQL, NoSQL, Cloud Platforms, AWS, GCP, Azure, Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, IoT Systems, Real-time Data Processing, Autonomous Systems, Data Analytics, Dashboard Development, Visualization Tools, Eagerness to Learn
