Summary: Boston Dynamics is seeking a talented, self-motivated, hands-on co-op to assist with the development, production, and testing of its robots and test infrastructure. The Supplier Quality Intern will work with a cross-functional team on supplier management and development, focusing on creating fixtures and gauges for inspection and analyzing data for robust reporting. Responsibilities: - Create fixtures, as well as functional and Go-no-go gauges in Catia for O-Inspect Optical System - Assist creating Part Inspection Reports (PIR) - Assist with Supplier PPAP processes including review of documents and materials - Analysis of data inputs and creating robust reporting for Supplier Management - Work with incoming inspection and supplier quality on vendor action plans related to findings in above responsibilities Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering or relevant field - Experienced with Catia - Knowledge of, or willing to learn, GD&T - Interested in learning various measurement equipment - Advanced computer skills, particularly with spreadsheets and data visualization tools in Excel or Google Sheets - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently - Adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Preferred Qualifications: - Bonus for familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools, such as Tableau Required Skills: Catia Important Skills: GD&T, Data visualization, SQL Nice-to-Have Skills: Problem-solving, Communication skills, Interpersonal skills, Self-motivated, Adaptability
