They are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join the Stretch Hardware team, where the intern will design and troubleshoot electrical systems for their latest commercial robot aimed at improving warehouse efficiency. Responsibilities: - Perform electrical PCBA design, integration, and PCB layout efforts - Apply your knowledge to inform robot builds, and debug complex electrical systems - Work on a range of systems from small sub-assemblies to fully integrated robots, including specification to design, prototype, reliability validation, and manufacturing - Potential to collaborate with mechanical, firmware, controls, perception software, and test engineers in small or large cross-disciplinary teams to design and bring robots to market Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a BSEE or related degree - Passion for working on electrical systems and robotics - Proficiency in electronics design fundamentals - Experience using schematic capture and PCB layout software (Altium or similar) - Ability to use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, etc Preferred Qualifications: - Demonstrated experience with circuit board and electrical system debug and failure analysis - Firmware or software development experience in C/C++ - Working understanding of command-line Linux or a similar operating system - Ability to solder SMT PCB components Required Skills: Electrical PCBA design, PCB layout software Important Skills: Electronics design fundamentals, Circuit board debug Nice-to-Have Skills: C/C++ development, Command-line Linux, Soldering SMT components
