Summary: Bonnie Briar Country Club is a classic club with a rich heritage and a friendly atmosphere. The Merchandising Intern will provide exceptional customer service, manage inventory, and assist with daily operations of the Golf Shop. Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service by interacting daily with members and guests - Order merchandise for the Golf Shop - Monitor and replenish shop inventory - Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently - Collaborate with team members to manage daily Golf Shop operations, including: - Opening and closing the Golf Shop - Maintaining professional shop presentation and merchandise displays - Assisting members and guests with special orders - Answering phone calls and registering members for tee times and tournaments - Promote the game of golf and support club initiatives at BBCC Required Qualifications: - Self-motivated, energetic, and outgoing personality - Willing and able to work weekends and holidays - Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer software Preferred Qualifications: - Retail experience preferred - Local work experience preferred but not required Required Skills: Customer service Important Skills: Retail experience, Microsoft Office Nice-to-Have Skills: Energetic, Outgoing personality, Self-motivated Benefits: Holiday bonus, Extra income opportunities available (raffles, club repair, junior golf programs), Clothing allowance, Playing and practice privileges, Meals provided while on duty, Employee discounts on all Golf Shop merchandise
