Job Description
Summary: Boeing is a leading aerospace company committed to innovation and collaboration. They are seeking an Operations Procurement Agent to manage supplier relationships and improve supply chain performance, playing a crucial role in the efficiency of aircraft production and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
- Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
- Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
- Data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that program, customer and product strategies are integrated into supplier strategies
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and audit requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
- 1+ years of experience in a role which requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 1+ years of experience leading managing projects
- Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 is required. 'U.S. Person' includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
- This position is primarily on 1st shift but must have flexibility to work alternative shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3: 3+ years of experience with Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field
- 3+ years of experience with industry SAP (System Applications and Product) and/or an equivalent such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
- 3+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry
