Summary: The Boeing Company is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Entry Level Structural & Mechanical Testing Engineer to join their Test & Evaluation teams in Tukwila, WA. This role involves developing test plans and procedures, designing test hardware, and conducting structural tests to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements. Responsibilities: - Develop test plans, procedures, and test equipment/software to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements - Design, develop, and integrate test systems to support testing activities - Create test hardware to meet comprehensive test requirements across various testing scenarios - Review and validate test data, ensuring accuracy and quality prior to delivery to customers - Prepare and publish detailed test reports that summarize findings - Research test technologies that enhance testing efficiency and capability - Manage multiple projects while interfacing with project or program teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement effective test engineering solutions - Exhibit self-motivation and a sense of urgency, taking ownership of projects to drive successful outcomes Required Qualifications: - Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in structural design, analysis, and/or testing - Experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, or a similar CAD program - Experience in project management - Experience working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary organization Required Skills: Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Design, Structural Analysis, Structural Testing, Mechanical Testing, Test Plan Development, Test Procedure Development, Test Hardware Design, Test Software Development, Test System Integration, Test Data Validation, Test Report Preparation, CATIA, SolidWorks, U.S. Security Clearance, Project Management Benefits: Health insurance, Flexible spending accounts, Health savings accounts, Retirement savings plans, Life and disability insurance programs, Programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work
