Job Description
Summary: The Boeing Company is hiring for an Entry Level Structural Analysis Engineer for their Wing, Wing Edges, Empennage, Systems Stress, or Interiors Stress teams at the North Charleston, SC location. The role involves performing limited structural analysis to ensure systems and components meet requirements, participating in test activities, and working under close supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Performs limited structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
- Participates in various test activities substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
- Works under close supervision
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
- Experience using classical hand analysis methods
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working projects with composite material systems
- Experience with basic coding/script writing with FEA tools
- Experience performing structural analysis outside of academia
- Prior experience with manufacturing/production systems
- Experience working with international peers
