Job Description
Summary: The Boeing Company is seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer to join their Large Aircraft Spares Engineering team at their Oklahoma City facility. This role involves providing critical engineering review and technical support for spare parts procurement throughout the procurement lifecycle, while participating in a multi-disciplined team to deliver support to defense customers.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week
- Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies
- Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines
- Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build
- Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans. Investigates technical problems
- Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience
Required Qualifications:
- Accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Graduated with a Bachelor, Masters or Doctor of Science degree from accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, as of the date you are applying to this position
- ABET Accredited Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Experience working with out of production Boeing aircraft models pertaining to flights and technical training
- Aerospace related experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly processes and procedures, or experience during a project at school or during an internship
- 1+ years of experience supporting the development of engineering technical data packages needed to produce aircraft parts and components
- 1+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment
