Entry Level Data Analyst at Boeing in USA - Long Beach, CA

Summary: The Boeing Company is seeking an Entry Level Data Analyst to support the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Commercial Modifications team in Long Beach, CA. This role involves transforming data into actionable insights to improve program execution and decision-making, while collaborating with various teams to develop dashboards and maintain data integrity. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau to track program performance (schedule, cost, milestones, resource utilization) - Support development and administration of project tracking solutions in Smartsheet - Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency - Assist in building standardized reporting templates and data models for PMO use - Analyze trends and provide insights to support program reviews and leadership decision-making - Support maturity assessment efforts, scorecard development and KPI tracking - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and reporting requirements - Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and automation Required Qualifications: - 1+ years' experience in data analysis, or metrics reporting, or related work - 1+ years' experience developing dashboards, reports and KPIs - 1+ years' experience developing data pipelines or ETL (Extract Transform Load) services - Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field Preferred Qualifications: - Basic proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data organization) - Exposure to Tableau (academic, internship or personal projects) - Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project management tools - Understanding of project/program management concepts - Strong communication skills with ability to translate data into insights Required Skills: Data analysis, Dashboard development, ETL services Important Skills: Tableau, Excel Nice-to-Have Skills: Data validation, Project management concepts Benefits: Health insurance, Flexible spending accounts, Health savings accounts, Retirement savings plans, Life and disability insurance programs, Programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work
