Job Description
Summary: The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Systems Engineer – Health Management to join the Government Vehicle Health Management Systems team in Hazelwood, MO. This role will support a proprietary program and other platforms by developing and managing aircraft health management systems and ensuring the alignment of software products with customer and program needs.
Responsibilities:
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
- Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces
- Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture
- Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success
- Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes
- Resolves cross-functional technical issues
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- 1+ years of experience in systems engineering (requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture design and trade design)
- 1+ years of experience working systems engineering across multiple phases of the product life-cycle
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- 1+ years' experience building stakeholder and customer relationships
- Agile development experience
- Experience with military aircraft and Proprietary programs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead by influence
- 2+ years of experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a plus
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and CAM duties
