Job Description
Summary: The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Programmer Analyst to join the team in Everett, WA or Seattle, WA. The role involves production support and operational analysis of online and batch systems, as well as designing, programming, testing, and implementing computing applications and software.
Responsibilities:
- Performs production support and operational analysis of online and batch systems
- Performs the design, program, test, implementation, and documentation of computing applications and software
- Writes and compiles code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems
- Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain functionality and performance
- Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems
- Performs data exploration and repair as needed by constructing custom extracts and investigating issues at the data level
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of programming experience with Java, C++, C#
- 1+ years of experience with Relational Databases such as SQL-Server, Oracle, Teradata
- 1+ years of experience with Configuration Control Tools such as GIT, Visual Source Safe, Clear Case
- 1+ years of experience Windows, Linux (Oracle 8+ and Red Hat 7+) Operating Systems
- 1+ years of experience with Documentation Tools such as Microsoft tools such as Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience
- Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD practices, methodologies and tooling
- Familiarity with Python, shell scripting or COBOL (read only)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) or Team Foundation Server (TFS), GitLab, GIT, IIS, Windows Server
- Familiarity with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry)/Tanzu and/or exposure to Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure; Cloud technologies and/or Cloud-native app and microservices
