IT SAP Analyst Intern - Application & Development at Bob's… · Remote

Summary: Bob's Discount Furniture is one of the fastest growing omni-channel furniture retailers in the country. This internship provides hands-on exposure to enterprise SAP systems, allowing the intern to work alongside experienced professionals and support various business processes and project coordination efforts. Responsibilities: - Partner with the SAP core team to support the execution of business processes across multiple functional areas - Assist with process improvements and system design enhancements to improve operational efficiency - Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, job instructions, and technical documentation - Support the creation and enhancement of training materials and knowledge documentation - Assist functional and technical leads with special projects and development of functional specifications - Monitor and track IT support requests, analyze defects, and help identify potential solutions - Create and manage work plans, ensuring project tasks and action items are completed on time - Perform general SAP administrative activities and assist with troubleshooting production issues - Develop ad-hoc reports using SAP tools and Microsoft Excel to support business insights - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system improvements and business initiatives Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business (with emphasis on technology or information systems) - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with IT terminology, ERP systems, and business process documentation - Exposure to technical writing or process documentation - Experience or familiarity with tools such as: SAP, Asana, SharePoint, Jira - SAP certifications or coursework are a plus but not required Required Skills: SAP, ERP Systems, Microsoft Excel Important Skills: Data Analysis Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical Thinking
