Job Description
Summary: BNY is a leading global financial services company that influences nearly 20% of the world’s investible assets. The Junior Product Specialist will support the CollateralONE client execution team with client growth initiatives, collaborate with sales teams, and contribute to client experience improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Support CollateralONE’s client execution team with activities that advance global client growth initiatives, ensuring daily work aligns with BNY Markets’ strategic objectives and revenue goals
- Collaborate with Sales and Relationship Management to operationalize go-to-market plans by preparing client materials, coordinating outreach, maintaining adoption trackers, and reporting progress across hedge funds, pension funds, insurers, and other buy-side segments
- Serve as a day-to-day client point of contact for assigned accounts; document client objectives; follow through with product and service teams to ensure timely delivery
- Contribute to client experience improvements by documenting pain points, standardizing processes, supporting automation initiatives, and maintaining playbooks to reduce manual work and elevate service consistency
- Help strengthen operational resilience by monitoring workflows, performing routine control checks, collecting evidence for compliance, and supporting remediation actions across global processes
- Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance on routine agreement and SLA updates by preparing draft materials/templates, coordinating reviews, tracking approvals, and maintaining accurate records
- Provide structured input to the Product & Technology backlog by collecting user feedback, performing basic analyses, assisting with prioritization, and supporting UAT for enhancements that improve user engagement and competitive differentiation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline
- At least 1 year of related product experience
- 1 -3 years in financial services
