Role
The Manager, New Products & Experience supports BMO’s ability to innovate and differentiate in everyday banking by helping design, test, and deliver customer‑focused product and experience solutions across chequing and savings.
Reporting into the Senior Manager, this role focuses on translating customer insights, market research, and emerging capabilities into tangible product features and experience improvements that strengthen BMO’s value proposition.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Experience Development
Contribute to the design and delivery of new products, features, experience enhancements, and funding solutions across chequing and savings.
Support the definition of customer journeys, use cases, and requirements that connect products, digital experiences, and data.
Help advance initiatives from concept through pilot and launch.
Market & Customer Insight
Conduct market scans, competitive analysis, and synthesis of fintech and industry trends.
Support customer research, testing, and experimentation to validate ideas and refine solutions.
Translate insights into clear recommendations and design improvements.
Cross‑Functional Execution
Work closely with Technology, Digital, Marketing, Risk, Legal & Compliance, Finance, and Operations partners to deliver initiatives.
Contribute to business cases, governance documentation, and launch readiness activities.
Support go‑to‑market planning and post‑launch optimization.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Track post‑launch performance and customer outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve adoption, customer understanding, and overall experience.
Qualifications
3–6 years of experience in product management, experience design, business analysis, or strategy.
Strong customer‑first mindset with solid analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Experience working in large, matrixed organizations.
Familiarity with digital products, deposits, payments, funding solutions, or open banking concepts is an asset.

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
