The Software Development Intern will gain hands-on experience, collaborate with experienced engineers, and explore multiple technologies while contributing to impactful projects. Responsibilities: - Gain hands-on experience in software development - Work with experienced engineers on real-world projects - Explore multiple technologies while contributing to impactful projects - Collaborate with team members in a team-centric environment - Learn about data storage solutions, front-end and back-end technologies, and cloud-based infrastructures Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in High School - Have taken classes in software development and are familiar with some scripting languages - Have some software development experience, whether through coursework, projects, or internships - Capable of working in a team-centric environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving - Passionate about big data technologies and excited to work with cloud infrastructures - Eligible for security clearance - Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance - U.S. citizenship required - Agree to participate in a background screen and credit check - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer - Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times - Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities Required Skills: Java, Python, Cloud platforms Important Skills: REST Services, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, MongoDB Nice-to-Have Skills: Team collaboration, Problem-solving, Communication skills Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: This position is eligible for sick pay as per the Colorado Healthy Families & Workplaces Act (HFWA).
