Job Summary
This role is responsible for the training, development, and performance of a BDR team. The Manager will help lead a comprehensive development program focused on driving results, strengthening team capabilities, motivating and supporting individual growth. This role will also oversee daily operations, enhance outreach strategies, provide ongoing coaching and guidance, and focus on outbound prospecting and generating qualified pipeline.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and motivate a team of BDRs by modeling BlueGrace values, demonstrating consistency, positivity, punctuality, strong work ethic, and fostering meaningful engagement and connections.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for BDRs, including new hire onboarding and ongoing development.
- Effectively measure and manage BDR performance during 30-60-90-day ramp period and beyond.
- Lead meetings and team coaching sessions focused on outreach strategy, workflow process, email execution, call performance and sales goals.
- Responsible for BDR development including call coaching, prospecting strategies, and industry knowledge.
- Conduct 1:1 weekly meetings to develop strategies to meet goals and hold BDRs accountable to performance and quota attainment.
- Manage and optimize technology platforms by leveraging data and insights to drive content and cadence improvements.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and align team objectives with organizational goals.
- Track, analyze, and report performance metrics and KPIs.
- Use data and trends to coach, communication, and inform individuals on performance
- Utilize BDR technology stack to manage data accuracy, track opportunities, and support targeted prospecting efforts.
- Screen and interview candidates for the BDR role
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of proven management experience directly managing SDRs/BDRs to results
- Experience with sales enablement tools including Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Skilled in outbound prospecting strategy
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a business development or sales role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to set and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
