Personal Trainer - Paid Clients From Day One at Blue Moon… · Omaha

We Fill Your Schedule. You Make Them Want More.

Most gyms hand a new trainer a clipboard and tell them to find clients. At Blue Moon Fitness, we hand you opportunities to earn them.

Our Premium Plus membership includes a personal training session every four weeks. Across our four Omaha-area clubs, that creates hundreds of paid coaching opportunities each month with people who are already members.

Your job? Make every session so valuable they want to come back for more.

What We Offer

• Part-time or full-time. Flexible scheduling.
• Paid training sessions. Approximately $15 for 25 minutes, $22.50 for 40 minutes, and $26 for 55 minutes, with opportunities to earn more as you advance.
• Premium Plus sessions. $9 for 25 minutes, with an opportunity to turn members into long-term clients.
• Sales bonuses. Earn commissions on packages you sell, even when another coach delivers the sessions.
• Built-in breaks. Our 25-, 40-, and 55-minute sessions allow time between appointments.
• Certification and continuing education assistance.
• A career path based on merit, not seniority.

The Way We Think Matters as Much as What We Know

We're not looking for someone who just knows how to count repetitions.

We're looking for people who want to become better coaches, better teammates, and better human beings.

At Blue Moon Fitness, we have 12 operating principles that guide how we work, solve problems, and treat one another.

We don't expect you to arrive knowing how to practice all 12. That's one reason we invest in culture training. We do expect you to be willing to learn, accept feedback, and make changes when something isn't working.

These principles apply to everyone, including ownership.

1. Face Reality. No spin, excuses, or denial.
2. Believe Improvement Is Possible. There is always a way to get better.
3. Take Ownership. Responsibility begins with us.
4. Conduct a Ruthless Self-Assessment. Be willing to examine your own performance.
5. Create Transparency. Communicate openly and honestly.
6. Commit to Change. Improvement requires doing things differently.
7. Execute with Discipline. Follow through, even when it's difficult.
8. Acknowledge Impact. Understand how your actions affect others.
9. Make It Right. When something goes wrong, help fix it.
10. Build a Feedback Loop. Ask, listen, learn, and adjust.
11. Strengthen Clarity and Thinking. Ask better questions and make better decisions.
12. Multiply the Standard. Lead by example and help others improve.

We do not drift into excellence. We drift into tolerance.

If those principles sound exhausting, we're probably not the right place for you.

If they sound like an opportunity to grow, we should talk.

Who You'll Be Helping

Our members aren't professional athletes or fitness fanatics. Our target members are everyday people: first-time exercisers, adults wanting to stay functional and independent, people starting over, people using GLP-1 medications who want to preserve their strength, and everyone else who wants to come along. We call it "the adult table."

We want coaches who enjoy helping people who may not even enjoy exercising yet.

We teach every employee our Mom Standard: Treat every member the way you'd want your own mother treated if she were in a gym 500 miles away. With love, respect, and kindness.

Who Should Apply

You don't have to have it all figured out. Neither do we.

What matters is that you're willing to learn, examine your own thinking, accept feedback, and put what you learn into practice. We'll invest in teaching you our culture. You have to be willing to do your part.

We're looking for certified trainers and people willing to become certified who genuinely like people, take responsibility, and want to build a career helping others.

We've been serving Omaha since 1989. We know that great coaching begins with caring about the person in front of you.

If this sounds like the kind of place where you'd like to work, we'd like to hear from you.
