Job Description
Summary: Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) is dedicated to serving Rhode Islanders and fostering a culture of belonging. The Data, Analytics and AI Intern will support the Data, Analytics and AI team by creating learning materials, assisting with the AI Champions Program, and facilitating workshops to promote AI literacy within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support AI literacy enablement by creating clear, role‑based learning materials (job aids, FAQs, slides, micro‑learning)
- Assist the AI Champions Program by coordinating content, synthesizing Champion learnings, and packaging outputs for broader sharing
- Translate AI concepts into plain language to build trust, support responsible use, and day‑to‑day adoption
- Support facilitation and logistics for workshops, lunch & learns, and Champion check‑ins
- Track and summarize engagement and adoption insights to provide info on AI literacy efforts
- Support rollout and ongoing enablement of the AI literacy efforts including AI Champions Program (materials, templates, shared outputs)
- Help build and maintain a centralized prompt library and practical, role‑based AI use case examples
- Contribute to role‑based AI learning assets aligned to the 2026 AI Literacy roadmap
- Package AI value spotlights showcasing how teams are using AI to improve efficiency and outcomes
- Support engagement and feedback loops (surveys, insights, summaries) to refine future AI literacy initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills – ability to translate AI concepts into clear, plain‑language guidance for non‑technical audiences (writing, presentation, facilitation)
- Foundational AI/GenAI familiarity – hands‑on experience with tools like Copilot or ChatGPT; understands basic concepts, limitations, and responsible use
- Learning & enablement mindset – experience creating or delivering training, job aids, FAQs, or other learning materials; comfortable facilitating small group sessions
- Good judgment & responsible AI awareness – understands data privacy, confidentiality, and ethical considerations; knows when to escalate questions or risks
- Content creation capability – can produce concise, well‑structured materials (slides, one‑pagers, guides) using standard workplace tools (M365 preferred)
- Organized, curious, and collaborative – able to manage small workstreams, synthesize feedback, and work effectively with diverse stakeholders
