Job Description
Summary: BJ’s Wholesale Club is powered by more than 30,000 team members who make a real impact every day. The Robotics and Automation Intern will investigate operational processes, support automation deployments, and design new processes utilizing automation.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate assigned operational club and/or distribution center processes to uncover improvements opportunities
- Support the implementation of ongoing automation deployments and implementations
- Investigate new ways data can be used to positively impact the business
- Own and design new process utilizing physical and digital automation
Required Qualifications:
- Able to work hybrid schedule in Marlborough, MA. Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate program, masters program, etc
- Knowledge of common coding languages and data visualization tools is a plus
- Can-do attitude with a willingness to roll-up your sleeves and learn
- Agile and eager to work with diverse stakeholders and tasks
- Collaborative and able to influence without authority
- Strong communication skills and able to work cross functionally
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Email) required

- Preferred majors: Computer science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
