Job Description
Summary: BJ’s Wholesale Club is powered by more than 30,000 team members who make a real impact every day. The Pricing Analyst will balance a mix of in-depth analysis and strategic price execution, providing key insights and impacts to strategic pricing decisions and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with merchant teams, establishing positive business relationships and being a point of contact within assigned categories
- Analyze competitor pricing strategies and provide data-driven recommendations
- Educate and influence merchants to improve understanding/reliance on advanced analytics in making pricing decisions with support from team
- Collaborate with team members and across departments to solve pricing and analytical requests
- Maintain knowledge of industry retail pricing
- Provide financial impacts of aligned upon pricing actions
- Support/lead specific projects or analyses to support team and company objectives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-3 years of relative experience
- Knowledge of retail operations and pricing strategies
- Analytically minded with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and competing needs
- Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- SQL / Alteryx / Tableau skills a plus
- Familiarity with SAP a plus
