Job Description
Summary: BJ’s Wholesale Club is powered by over 30,000 team members making a real impact every day. They are seeking a Data & AI Engineer Intern to support their Digital Engineering team by enhancing a Python-based tool that integrates data from multiple systems and applies AI for meaningful insights.
Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance Python applications that connect to multiple systems via APIs
- Collect, process, and structure data from diverse sources
- Support AI-driven summarization and insight generation
- Collaborate with engineering leaders and contribute to a core summer project
Required Qualifications:
- Able to work hybrid schedule in Marlborough, MA. Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Strong Python programming skills (required)
- Knowledge of APIs and data integration
- Interest in data engineering, AI, or applied analytics
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
- Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
