The Data Enablement Engineer will work at the intersection of Product Analytics and Data Platform teams, translating business needs into effective data products and ensuring data cleanliness across various sources. Responsibilities: - Be a key curator of data. You will build and maintain the reporting layer of our team’s data environment to make data standardized, easily accessible, and performant - Work closely with Product Engineering and our stakeholders to create the data needed to market and measure the success of our product launches - Maintain and optimize monitoring and alerting for our company’s reporting pipelines and analytics infrastructure - Partner with our Finance team to curate the data pipelines necessary to understand how our businesses are performing - Find ways to spread knowledge and increase data literacy across the organization - Think about scale and new technologies that will enable us to achieve a high level of efficiency for our data platforms Required Qualifications: - 1 - 3 years of experience writing SQL statements and transforming data - Familiarity with ETL, Python, and creating pipelines for large datasets - Passion for scaling and automating analytics work - Ability to take apart business problems, translate them into technical requirements, and translate results back to non-technical audiences - Autonomy, curiosity, and tenacity as a data issue detective Preferred Qualifications: - Previous exposure to DBT, Metabase, Airflow, Segment, Mixpanel, and/or DAG management platforms Required Skills: SQL, ETL, Python Important Skills: DBT, Airflow, Mixpanel Nice-to-Have Skills: Data literacy, Curiosity, Tenacity Benefits: Competitive equity package, Health, dental and vision benefits, Life and AD&D, Short-term and long-term disability insurance, EAP, Commuter and parking benefits, FSA/HSA, 401(k) with employer match, Flexible PTO policy, Medical, dental, and vision insurance, Life and AD&D insurance, STD and LTD benefits, including infertility support and World Professional Association for Transgender Health approved benefits, Generous parental leave, Lunch from our in-house chef at our NYC headquarters
