Summary: BerryDunn is a professional services firm providing Assurance, Tax, and Consulting services. They are seeking an Internal Controls Audit Intern for the Summer of 2026 to assist in SOC examinations and internal controls assessments while gaining valuable experience in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: - Learn and work with a variety of industry best practice frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.) by providing service to a number of clients in different verticals - Learn how to assist the engagement lead with the following tasks: - Planning and preparing for engagements - Monitoring and tracking project action items, issues, risks, and decisions - Perform testing during SOC examinations - Work in a fast-paced environment alongside skilled professionals - Participate in staff/team meetings Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled as a student in a Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Information Security, Information Technology or Security and Risk Analysis Accounting or related business program - Available to work a minimum 40 hours per week during the summer session - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future - Desire to obtain Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certification - Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills - Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) - In order to be considered, you must include your unofficial academic transcription with your application Required Skills: Internal Controls Audit, CISA Certification Important Skills: NIST Framework, ISO Standards, Microsoft Office Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical Skills Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
