Summary: Berkley Technology Services (BTS) is a dynamic technology solution for W. R. Berkley Corporation, a Fortune 500 Commercial Lines Insurance Company. The Data Engineer Intern will partner with experienced data warehouse engineers and architects to gain hands-on experience related to the Berkley data warehouse, focusing on developing ETL processes and collaborating with technical teams. Responsibilities: - Develop ETL processes using Databricks Notebooks or ADF - Develop and utilize Enterprise scheduler - Develop Databricks Notebooks, SQL, Stored Procedures, API’s - Develop understanding of insurance, reinsurance, and financial data - Develop RPA utilizing Python and/or UiPath - Assist with implementation and management of DataStage, SSIS, Redgate,Fivetran,UiPath - Collaborate with peer technical teams Required Qualifications: - At least three years of college or university coursework completed; preference is for some coursework related to computer science or similar area of study - Registered student or recent graduate pursuing a major in an IT-related degree - BTS is seeking to fill this position on a permanent basis and for those reasons, the Company is not considering applicants who require visa sponsorship now, or at any time in the future, for this particular role.
